About our Amazingly Talented Photographer:

Dewi Edwards in Antarctica in 2006
Mr. Edwards worked for the British Antarctic Service from 1984-1988, staying on the continent for three and a half years, including one full year doing research on Bird Island with only two other scientists.  Since his return to his home in North Wales after an around-the-world trip, Mr. Edwards has lately been returning almost yearly to Antarctica to "summer" for 5-6 months doing construction projects, research, and continuing his photographic journal.  His seven "seasons" and three and a half years of wildlife and landscape photography are the cornerstone for all of the Antarctic Inspiration projects.
Mr. Edwards is a bird watcher, traveler, lecturer, photographer, builder, and adventurer.  He and Ms. McWethy are second cousin's who live on opposite sides of the globe, but share a passion for living on the edge!
